About the portal
Meteoportal is the official source of air quality and weather data for Tajikistan: measurements from the monitoring network, forecasts, warnings and health advice in three languages.

Agency for Hydrometeorology of the Committee for Environmental Protection under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan
The Agency runs national ambient air monitoring and hydrometeorological observations and issues forecasts and severe weather warnings. The portal is its public data showcase.
FINTAJ project
The portal was developed within FINTAJ, the Finnish–Tajik cooperation project strengthening the hydrometeorological service of Tajikistan.
The donor and technical partner is the Finnish Meteorological Institute (FMI): weather forecasts come from SmartMet Server, the air quality forecast from the SILAM model, and warnings from the SmartMet Alert editor in CAP format.
Where the data comes from
All external sources are synchronised in the background; if a source is unavailable the portal keeps showing the latest data marked as stale.
Monitoring stations
PM2.5, PM10, NO₂, SO₂, CO and O₃ concentrations from the Agency's stations: manual entry, imports and automatic sensors. Data passes quality control.

Current and historical data is available through a JSON API, CSV exports and embeddable widgets.
Languages and accessibility
The portal is available in Tajik, Russian and English; the Tajik version is the primary one.
The interface follows WCAG 2.1 AA: pollution levels are conveyed by colour and label, every action is keyboard-accessible, and dark mode and reduced motion are supported.
