Measurements, the index, forecasts and warnings are available in machine-readable form — for researchers, the media, app developers and the meteo.tj website.

Datasets

  • Monitoring stations

    Register of public stations with coordinates, status and current index level (GeoJSON).

  • Station measurements

    Hourly or daily means by pollutant for 24 hours, 7 days, 30 days or a year; JSON or CSV.

  • Current index

    Level, value and dominant pollutant for all stations on the selected scale.

Licence

Data is published under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 (CC BY 4.0) open licence: it may be used, shared and processed, including commercially.

Attribution is required: “Agency for Hydrometeorology of the Republic of Tajikistan, Meteoportal”. FMI forecasts (SmartMet, SILAM) must credit the Finnish Meteorological Institute.

Formats

  • JSON — the primary format of all endpoints
  • GeoJSON — stations, boundaries, warning polygons
  • CSV (UTF-8 with BOM) — measurement series for spreadsheets and analysis
  • CAP XML and RSS 2.0 — warnings and news

Widgets for websites

Ready-made iframe blocks: station index, weather forecast, warnings. The language is set with the lang parameter.

Station data is published after automatic and manual quality control; values marked “stale” or “no data” mean a gap, not zero pollution.
